Hermitage and Macks Creek are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2018, but likely not for long. The Hornets will take on the Pirates at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Saturday, Hermitage didn't have quite enough to beat Stoutland and fell 5-4. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Macks Creek had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 11-1 to Lakeland on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Pirates in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost four in a row.

Hermitage skirted past Macks Creek 2-1 in their previous meeting back in April of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hornets since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
