Softball Recap: Weston Comes Up Short

Weston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Ithaca Bulldogs, falling 14-1. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Silver Eagles couldn't push the score so high this time.

Weston's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Ithaca, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-4.

Weston didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 25-1 loss against Hillsboro on the 29th. Ithaca has also already played their next contest (against New Lisbon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
