Recap: Peachtree Ridge Lions vs. Lee County Trojans
The Peachtree Ridge Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 56-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lee County. Peachtree Ridge was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Lee County apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2014.
Josiah Parker was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds for Lee County. The matchup was Parker's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Matthew Hardwick, who scored 15 points along with 8 rebounds.
Peachtree Ridge now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Lee County, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
Peachtree Ridge will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Discovery at 7:30 p.m. on December 5th. Discovery will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 335th, while Peachtree Ridge is ranked 145th). As for Lee County, they will be playing at home against Monroe at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
