Basketball Recap: Wellington School Comes Up Short

Wellington School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They fell 66-54 to the Fairfield Christian Academy Knights. The Jaguars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Knights earlier this season, when they won 71-41.

Wellington School's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Fairfield Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wellington School will square off against Grove City Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Grove City Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.2 points per game this season. As for Fairfield Christian Academy, they will challenge Berne Union at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fairfield Christian Academy is facing Berne Union at the right time seeing as Berne Union is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
