Soccer Game Preview: Workman vs. Ganesha

The Workman Lobos will square off against the Ganesha Giants at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Workman's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for 12 straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Workman's offense. They lost 18-0 to Edgewood on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Lobos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1164th, while the Lions are ranked 171st).

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in December of 2024, Ganesha was forced to settle for a draw on Tuesday. They and La Puente finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw.

Workman's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15-1. Ganesha's draw makes their record 4-10-2 this season.
