Basketball Recap: Seaside Takes Down Philomath in a Playoff Battle

With a playoff win on the line, Seaside rose to the challenge on Saturday. They snuck past the Philomath Warriors with a 38-34 win. Winning may never get old, but the Seagulls sure are getting used to it with their 12th in a row.

Seaside's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-9. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.3 points over those games. As for Philomath, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-11.

Seaside didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-34 defeat against Cascade on the 13th. Philomath does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
