Volleyball Recap: Leavenworth Takes a Loss

Leavenworth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ottawa Cyclones. The PIONEERS were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cyclones apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-21.

Leavenworth's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Ottawa, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-10 record this season.

Leavenworth didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Tonganoxie on the 27th. As for Ottawa, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against De Soto on the 27th.
