Baseball Game Preview: Skyline Eagles vs. Viewmont Vikings

For the second straight game, Skyline will face off against Viewmont. The Eagles are taking a road trip to face off against the Vikings at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Skyline took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They came out on top against Viewmont by a score of 8-5. The victory was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Skyline got a massive performance out of Abe Wilson, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most hits Wilson has posted since back in May of 2025. Another player making a difference was Cole Muse, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Skyline was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Viewmont only posted a batting average of .200.

Skyline's win bumped their record up to 7-16. As for Viewmont, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season.
