Soccer Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Gretna's Fourth in Last Five Outings

Gretna's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Platteview Trojans. That's more bragging rights for Gretna, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

They hit Platteview with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Haleigh Kobielush, Juliette Lilla, and Briella Thompsen.

Gretna is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those five contests. As for Platteview, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 10-4 record.

As of now, neither Gretna nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
