Leesville Road put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Green Hope Falcons 51-28. The Pride pushed the score to 40-15 by the end of the third, a deficit the Falcons cut but never quite recovered from.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Leesville Road to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mattie Matonic, who went 6-for-13 on her way to 13 points in addition to five boards and three steals. Matonic is also crushing it when it comes to blocks: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Reaghan Mueller was another key player, shooting 45% from the field en route to 14 points and three steals.

Leesville Road's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Green Hope, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

Leesville Road didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 55-48 victory against Cardinal Gibbons on the 28th. As for Green Hope, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 55-33 win against Sanderson on the 2nd.
