Baseball Recap: Excelsior Charter Takes a Loss

Excelsior Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 12-6 to the Big Bear Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-3 last Tuesday.

Excelsior Charter's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Big Bear, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-5.

Coincidentally, Excelsior Charter and Big Bear will both be playing Hesperia Christian the next time they take the field. The Bears will head out to face the Patriots at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Eagles will host them at 3:15 p.m. on the 22nd.
