Whitehall scored the most runs they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 17-12 to Pepin/Alma. The Norse haven't had much luck with Pepin/Alma recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Taylor Johnson stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Regan Clatt, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.

Whitehall's record is now 1-7. As for Pepin/Alma, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Whitehall will square off against Neillsville/Granton at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pepin/Alma, they will challenge Wabasha-Kellogg at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
