Football Recap: Seneca Valley Takes a Loss

Seneca Valley lost against Mt. Lebanon back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Raiders came up short against the Blue Devils, falling 41-20. The Raiders were down 34-13 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Seneca Valley has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. Mt. Lebanon's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seneca Valley will take on Canon-McMillan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders will be up against the Big Macs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30.5 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Mt. Lebanon, they are taking a road trip to square off against North Allegheny at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers' defense has only allowed 11.2 points per game this season, so the Blue Devils' offense will have their work cut out for them.
