Baseball Game Preview: Millsap Bulldogs vs. Peaster Greyhounds

Millsap is 2-8 against Peaster since March of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The two teams will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 7:00 p.m. Millsap has given up an average of 7.6 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Millsap is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Saturday. They lost 15-5 to Tolar. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bulldogs have suffered since March 1st.

Millsap saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dawson Lynch, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Peaster). They put the hurt on Dublin with a sharp 19-1 win on Saturday. The Greyhounds have beaten the Lions the last seven times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Lions has come to flipping the script.

Millsap's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Peaster, they now have a winning record of 7-6-1.

Millsap couldn't quite finish off Peaster in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 and fell 4-2. Can Millsap avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
