Softball Preview: Brandon Bulldogs vs. Oak Grove Warriors
The Brandon Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Oak Grove Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Brandon is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 8.1 runs per game this season.
Brandon was handed a two-point loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Pearl on Tuesday. Everything went Brandon's way against Pearl as Brandon made off with a 17-3 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Brandon considering their two-run performance the contest before.
Dakota Davis made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Davis was even better at the plate, going 1-for-3 with a home run and four RBI.

Brandon's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Oak Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5-1.
