Baseball Game Preview: Perry Yellowjackets vs. Caledonia-Mumford Raiders

The Perry Yellowjackets will head out to take on the Caledonia-Mumford Raiders at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Perry and five for Caledonia-Mumford.

On Thursday, Perry came up short against Keshequa and fell 5-2.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Caledonia-Mumford and Keshequa have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Wednesday. The Raiders lost 11-3 to the Indians.

Zach Boop made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Caledonia-Mumford, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.

Everything went Perry's way against Caledonia-Mumford when the teams last played on Friday, as Perry made off with a 10-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Yellowjackets since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
