Basketball Game Preview: Princeton Tigers vs. Hoover Huskies

The Princeton Tigers will face off against the Hoover Huskies at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Princeton will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Last Thursday, Princeton didn't have too much trouble with Nicholas County as they won 59-45.

Princeton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Addisyn Sarver, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and nine boards. What's more, Sarver also posted a 67% shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Carley Hurt, who went 5-for-11 to rack up 16 points.

Meanwhile, Hoover fought the good fight in their overtime game against Capital on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 60-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars.

Hoover's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Princeton, they pushed their record up to 12-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
