With a playoff win on the line, Buffalo rose to the challenge on Saturday. They pulled ahead with a 60-59 photo finish over the Douglas Bearcats. This was a revenge game for the Bison: when they faced off against the Bearcats back in February, they had to take a 51-49 loss.

Buffalo's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zayne Huber, who went 6-for-11 to rack up 15 points. Konnor Rodriguez was another key player, shooting 63% from the field en route to 12 points and six rebounds.

Buffalo has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.2 points over those games. Douglas' defeat dropped their record down to 17-8.
