Mt. Hope faced North Providence in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Huskies were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cougars. The victory was nothing new for the Huskies as they're now sitting on five straight.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Mt. Hope took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-15, 25-15.

Nathaniel Fisher paced Mt. Hope's offense, picking up 15 kills. Fisher got some help from Dylan DeOliveira and his 23 assists. Nathan Calouro controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Mt. Hope pushed their record up to 15-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for North Providence, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-8.

Mt. Hope wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Davies Career & Tech on the 19th. North Providence has also already played their next contest (against Times Squared Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
