Basketball Game Preview: Marion Harding Presidents vs. Highland Fighting Scots

The Marion Harding Presidents will take on the Highland Fighting Scots at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Marion Harding is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Shelby on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Marion Harding was outmatched by Shelby and fell 61-34. The Presidents have struggled against the Whippets recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Highland was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 45-40 to Pleasant. While losing is never fun, the Fighting Scots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 466th, while the Spartans are ranked 211th).

Highland's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Marion Harding, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.
