Baseball Recap: Westborough Comes Up Short

Westborough was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 4-0 to the Algonquin Regional Titans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in April.

Westborough's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Algonquin Regional, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3.

Coming up, Westborough will head out on the road to face off against Blackstone Valley RVT at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last four games the Beavers have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Algonquin Regional, they will take on Wellesley at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
