It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Norton can now relate to. They came up short against the West Branch Warriors on Friday, falling 35-14. The Panthers' defeat signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.

West Branch's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Grady Hirst, who rushed for 54 yards and one score, and also threw for 171 yards and one touchdown. Another back making a difference was Jeremiah Thomas, who gained 91 total yards and two touchdowns.

Norton's loss dropped their record down to 10-2. As for West Branch, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

Norton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Branch, they will square off against Perry at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
