Basketball Recap: Minerva's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Minerva hadn't done well against Canton South recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Minerva Lions walked away with a 47-37 victory over the Canton South Wildcats. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Lions as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Minerva's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-11. As for Canton South, they now have a losing record at 8-9.

Carrollton will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Minerva surely won't give up without a fight. As for Canton South, they will welcome Orrville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Orrville's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven matchups.
