It was a good run, but Riverdale unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 47-36 to the Van Buren Black Knights. The Falcons were probably out for revenge after losing 59-44 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Riverdale's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Van Buren, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Riverdale and Upper Sandusky will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Upper Sandusky is on a four-game streak of home wins, Riverdale a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Van Buren, they and Kenton will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Van Buren is facing Kenton at the right time seeing as Kenton is stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
