Baseball Recap: Mills University Studies Comes Up Short at Home Against Central

Mills University Studies unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 10-2 to the Central Tigers on Monday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Mills University Studies saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caleb Jester, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases.

Central's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mills University Studies will venture away from home to square off against Maumelle Charter at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Central, they will challenge Jonesboro at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Central's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
