Soccer Recap: Northeast Comes Up Short

After flying high against Lakewood last Thursday, Northeast came back down to earth. The Northeast Vikings came up short against the Osceola Warriors on Monday, falling 5-1. The Vikings were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

Northeast's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4-1. As for Osceola, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-1.

Northeast will host Boca Ciega at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Northeast is facing Boca Ciega at the right time seeing as Boca Ciega is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Osceola, they will challenge Dunedin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
