Softball Recap: Center Moriches Red Devils vs. Hampton Bays Baymen
Center Moriches gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They never let the Hampton Bays Baymen onto the board and left with a 12-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Center Moriches also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2023.
For Hampton Bays' part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordyn Heaney, who went 1-for-2 with a triple.
Hampton Bays' loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
Center Moriches does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hampton Bays, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mount Sinai at 4:30 p.m. on April 25th.
