Dobson is 8-2 against Westwood since February of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Dobson Mustangs will head out on the road to square off against the Westwood Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Tuesday, Dobson lost to Mesa at home by a 47-33 margin.

Meanwhile, Westwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 68-34 loss at the hands of Mountain View. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 210th, while the Toros are ranked 60th).

Westwood's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Dobson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 14 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season.

Everything came up roses for Dobson against Westwood when the teams last played two weeks ago, as the team secured a 55-17 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dobson since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
