Football Recap: Harpeth Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Harpeth fell victim to Fairview and their airtight defense on Friday. They were dealt a 39-0 defeat at the hands of the Yellowjackets. The Indians have struggled against the Yellowjackets recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Maddox Wilson threw for 61 yards on nine of 18 attempts. On the ground, John Neely rushed for 58 yards on only seven carries.

Harpeth's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Fairview, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Harpeth will head out to square off against Huntingdon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs' defense has only allowed 10.6 points per game this season, so the Indians' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Fairview, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Camden Central at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
