Baseball Game Preview: Tanner Rattlers vs. Lexington Golden Bears

For the second straight game, Tanner will face off against Lexington. The Rattlers will take on the Golden Bears at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tanner comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Tanner fell victim to Lexington and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 18-0 to the Golden Bears.

For Lexington's part, Tate Gamble was a standout: he scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Gamble has become a key player for the Golden Bears: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 6-16 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Zane Kilburn, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Lexington always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .758. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Tanner's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Lexington, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-17.
