Basketball Recap: Elk Grove Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Elk Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 48-19 defeat at the hands of the Deerfield Warriors. The game marked the Grenadiers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the loss, Elk Grove saw an underclassman step up: freshman Jaleah Blake posted eight points.

Elk Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Deerfield, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Coming up, Elk Grove will take on Bartlett at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Deerfield, they are taking a road trip to challenge Grayslake North at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
