Soccer Game Preview: McGill-Toolen vs. Fort Payne

The McGill-Toolen Yellowjackets will face off against the Fort Payne Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

McGill-Toolen's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They blew past Theodore 5-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Yellowjackets.

Meanwhile, Fort Payne had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 4-2 victory over Boaz.

Fort Payne hit Boaz with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alexandro Hidrogo (2), George Guardia, and Gabriel Alonzo.

McGill-Toolen now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Fort Payne, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
