Softball Recap: Irrigon Comes Up Short

Irrigon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 21-1 to the Grant Union Prospectors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 15-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Irrigon's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Grant Union, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

While Irrigon had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
