Volleyball Recap: Bayfield Finds Playoff Glory Versus Peak to Peak

Bayfield extended their postseason success on Saturday against Peak to Peak. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Pumas. The win was familiar territory for the Wolverines, who have now won three matchups in a row.

While Bayfield won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-21, 26-24.

Lauren Rich was the offensive standout of the match as she had 14 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 11 games she's played.

Despite the loss, Peak to Peak still got an impressive performance from Natalia Bejarano, who had 19 digs. Charlotte Lindberg also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Bayfield's victory bumped their record up to 18-7. As for Peak to Peak, their loss dropped their record down to 14-11.

Bayfield has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Aspen on the 13th. Peak to Peak does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
