Softball Recap: Lane Tech Champions vs. Jones Eagles
Lane Tech got themselves on the board against Jones on Monday, but Jones never followed suit. They blew past the Jones Eagles 13-0. The victory was nothing new for Lane Tech as they're now sitting on five straight.
Molly McDonagh was incredible, going 2-for-2 with a home run and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Grace Brobson, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Lane Tech is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Jones, they dropped their record down to 6-9 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home.
