Volleyball Recap: Alton Comes Up Short

Alton managed to slip by Bayless the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Redbirds lost 3-0 to the Bronchos on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Redbirds have suffered since April 17, 2024.

Alton is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8. As for Bayless, their win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4.

Alton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against O'Fallon on the 8th. As for Bayless, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Ritenour at 5:15 p.m.
