Softball Recap: Cannon County Takes a Loss

Cannon County lost against Forrest on April 1st, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lions came up short against the Rockets, falling 7-1. The Lions just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Cannon County's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Forrest, they pushed their record up to 14-8 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Cannon County will host Smith County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Lions are facing the Owls at the right time seeing as the Owls are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Forrest, they will take on Boyd-Buchanan in a tournament on Saturday.
