Football Recap: Englewood Comes Up Short

Englewood fell victim to Baldwin and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Baldwin Indians, falling 21-0. The Rams were not able to make up for their defeat to the Indians from their previous meeting back in April of 2022.

The critical scores for Baldwin came from Leighley Cooper, Skylair Asberry, and Desirae Cotten.

Englewood's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Baldwin, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Englewood will welcome Paxon School For Advanced Studies at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Baldwin, they will be playing at home against Fernandina Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
