Soccer Recap: Golden Valley Comes Up Short on the Road Against Gregori

Golden Valley had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the Gregori Jaguars on Wednesday, falling 5-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 1-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2018.

Their goal came courtesy of Ava Briceno.

The victory made it two in a row for Gregori and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Golden Valley wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Gustine on the 6th. Gregori has also already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Tracy on the 5th.
