Softball Recap: Scott Takes a Loss

Scott was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Campbell County Camels, falling 13-0. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 14-7 to the Camels when the teams met back in May of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Scott's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Campbell County, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Scott will venture away from home to face off against Ryle at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Raiders have averaged an impressive 13.9 runs per game this season. As for Campbell County, they are taking a road trip to take on Notre Dame Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Pandas' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Camels' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
