Volleyball Recap: Emma Kroah Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Claymont

Louisville won the last time they faced Claymont and things went their way on Saturday too. The Leopards came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Leopards.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-21.

Louisville got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Emma Kroah out in front who had 14 digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Kroah a new career-high.

Kroah wasn't the only good server: Louisville was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 12 aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Louisville's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Claymont, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Louisville will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Perry at 6:45 p.m. on September 4. As for Claymont, they will square off against Edison at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
