Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Coronado). They walked away with a 74-62 win over the Monterey Plainsmen on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Mustangs: when they faced off against the Plainsmen back in January, they had to take a 53-51 defeat.

Coronado has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 12-18 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points over those games. As for Monterey, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-19.

Coming up, Coronado will venture away from home to take on Amarillo at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Amarillo will roll in looking for their 15th straight victory, something Coronado surely won't give up without a fight. As for Monterey, they will take on Plainview at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
