The Classical Academy Caimans came into Tuesday's contest having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victor by a 61-35 margin over Escondido Adventist Academy. The score was close at the half, but Classical Academy pulled away in the second half with 42 points.
Issac Davis continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 32 points. Joseph Lanzone was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Classical Academy's win ended a nine-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-20. As for Escondido Adventist Academy, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Guajome Park Academy the next time they take the court. Escondido Adventist Academy will host Guajome Park Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Classical Academy will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
