Basketball Recap: Penelope Comes Up Short

Penelope lost against Neches back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Penelope Wolverines lost 54-28 to the Neches Tigers. The Wolverines just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Penelope's loss dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Neches, they moved to 13-13 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Oakwood the next time they take the court. Penelope will host Oakwood at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Neches will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on January 31st.
