Soccer Recap: Pulaski County Comes Up Short

Pulaski County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 7-0 to the Christiansburg Blue Demons. If Pulaski County were looking for revenge after losing 7-1 to Christiansburg when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Pulaski County's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Christiansburg, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Looking ahead, Pulaski County will challenge Salem at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Christiansburg, they will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Blacksburg at 7:00 p.m. Christiansburg's defense better be ready for this one: Blacksburg have averaged an impressive 5.9 goals per game this season.
