Basketball Recap: Glen Allen's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

After flying high against J.R. Tucker last Tuesday, Glen Allen came back down to earth. The Glen Allen Jaguars fell to the Deep Run Wildcats 64-58. The Jaguars' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Glen Allen still got an impressive performance from Faron Friend, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and 12 rebounds. The contest was Friend's tenth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Rj Mickleberry, who posted nine points.

Glen Allen's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-5. As for Deep Run, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-7.

Glen Allen will venture away from home to face off against Hylton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Glen Allen's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matches.
