Softball Preview: Nelson vs. Gresham Gophers
Nelson will venture away from home to take on the Gresham Gophers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Gresham took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Nelson, who comes in off a win.
On Thursday, Nelson made easy work of Clackamas and carried off an 11-1 win. The victory continues a trend for Nelson in their matchups with Clackamas: they've now won five in a row.

Sofia Forbito spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Ellie Nix and Abigail Huspek did most of the damage at the plate: Nix went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and three RBI, while Huspek went 2-for-3 with three runs and two doubles.
