After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Michaels, Easton was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the North Dorchester Eagles as they made off with a 15-5 win. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by six runs or more this season.
Easton got a massive performance out of Dylan Cassell, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-6. That's the most hits Cassell has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Raab, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-5.
Easton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .562. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Dorchester only posted an OBP of .357.
Easton's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for North Dorchester, they dropped their record down to 4-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
Coming up, Easton will host Wicomico at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Dorchester, they will venture away from home to challenge Mardela at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
