Basketball Recap: Hamilton County Comes Up Short

Hamilton County lost against Harrisburg back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hamilton County Foxes fell 50-43 to the Harrisburg Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Foxes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 231st, while the Bulldogs are ranked 113th).

Hamilton County's defeat dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Harrisburg, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-5.

Hamilton County will face off against Eldorado at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Harrisburg, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Murphysboro at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
