 The Richfield Spartans were not able to break out of their rough patch  on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight  defeat. They fell  73-66 to Visitation. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game  last Thursday (58), Richfield still had to take the loss.
 When it comes to explaining why Richfield lost, one person who can't be blamed is  Aniiya Johnson. Despite the final result, she  scored 29 points along with seven  rebounds and six  steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Johnson has scored all season. Another player making a difference was  Desirai Chappell, who  scored 17 points along with five  steals.
 Richfield's loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Visitation, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 11 of their last 12 matches,  which provided a massive bump to their 12-13 record  this season.
 Richfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Visitation also has no future games currently scheduled.
